Re: Sorry, just couldn't help myself (Speed-Racer)
Don't understand what you didn't understand about my post. I never said I didn't like SIGS. When your connected at 26k--it just takes too long to download. Learn to read before you reply :mad !! By the way, ---those kind of comments really make a new C5 owner feel welcome----geez :U
Lol, I love the different responses to this thread.
We have the drug fixated croud – party on dudes.
:hat
The assumers who figured it’s a loading issue and that I’m just a cheap bastard - I have dsl thanks. It’s not a time issue anyway (my finger just gets tired of scrolling).
The typical jokers – gotta love em. :jester
And a couple of serious replys regarding sigs.
Nobody, however, picked up on the social commentary about the advertising. We see advertising all over the place, of course, but the internet allows us to put forth this great image of ourselves with a beautiful car, great mods and fast ¼ mile times – if it’s not personal advertising than what is it? Just an observation of mine…(I know, I'm weird)
I grant you that there is some great sharing of ideas and looks to the different cars in the sigs, and it was one of the ways I decided on my car, so please don’t make the assumption that I don’t like sigs. It’s just best in moderation (as with most things in life). I just got tired of scrolling past the same full page list of mods and pics, over and over again.
Perhaps there could be an automatic link substitution for the sig after the first reply on a topic. Or allow the full sig only on the first post. Just a thought...

There have been several posts lately on this very subject. I think most put their sig on the first response only. Others, well. . . :jester

Slideshow: A Jaguar designer's personal project imagines what a modern front-engined Corvette might look like if Chevrolet revisited the golden age of the Stingray.
