Power steering pulley replacement instructions?

When I first bought the car I had a serp belt problem. Looked at the PS pulley and some of the ribs were dinged up. Used a file to straighten them out. Could have sworn it was metal. But, tried the magnet, and no sticky. You win, I loose. 
It also took a belt that was smaller than stock, guess I just fiqures the PS had an undersized pulley.
