just bought a 99 A4 gear code is G90 but it also shows G92 performance ,slap me around so i will understand

Are you asking a question or stating your car is a G92? Are you looking at the RPO's listed in the glovebox? Where did you get the G90?

Also, this is one of about two dozen pages I found just doing a search for "99 C5 rpo codes"

correct me if i'm wrong, but:

It says G90 as well as G92

ahh, the G90 is for the 3.15, the G92 is the performance option
