85 mm MAF?

Did later model c5's come with an 85mm MAF? I need one for my Fast install and I assume finding a used stock one would be the cheapest way to go.

2001-2004 C5s equipped with the 85mm Maf, rather than the 78mm.

What air intake setup are you running? The 85mm MAF has a larger front outside diameter and you're current setup may be too small. I know my BP Vortex I had to go with the later model filter.

Right now I have a Vararam. Will I see any problems?

If they make a different model for the early years and late years..the difference is the MAF size.

A quick check and it looks like they only make one for the C5 so you should be OK.

On the Vararam (VR-B2 at least) the 97-00 MAF fits inside of the outlet of the air box, and the 01-04 uses the silcon hose with 2 hose clamps. If you threw away or lost that piece and hose clamps you can just take the MAF to a Lowe's or Home Depot to the plumbing section and find a rubber coupler that fits well. I've used them previously for this purpose, and after finding the one that fits well just flip it inside out and use a sharp knife to remove the ridge in the middle.
