My passenger side window will not go down on the driver controls as well as passenger controls, is the passenger window motor on a separate fuse then the drivers side or do I have to replace the window motor?
Mine does that once in a blue moon. Reach over and open the door, and while you are pressing the window switch button, close the door kinda hard but don't slam it. I think this has happened to me 3 times since I have owned the car, and that trick has fixed it every time.
This is actually a fairly common problem. The passenger window motor/regulator failed in my 2004 within the first year of ownership - fixed under warranty. Do a search and you'll see plenty of threads on this.
Try it 2 or 3 times... Actually sit in the passenger seat with the car running or the ignition on, hold the switch in the down position and slam the door. It has worked for me the 3 or 4 times I have had to do this in the almost 3 years I have owned the car.
If the slamming doesn't work, try with the door open and the ignition on and the window switch held to down, wiggle the accordion covered bundle in the hinge area. If the window starts down, you have a bad connection in the connector to the wiring for the window. You can get to the connectors by sliding back the accordion cover on the car side of the hinge area. If that works, I can post a picture of the plugs, but try wiggling the bundle first and post what happens.
I didnt adjust anything. Before hand lots of wind noise now perfect. There maybe a vendor on here with a similar price but I couldnt find anything to my house that quick from anyone else and I spoke to the ebay seller over the phone which I like. gl
Turn the ignition on and press the down switch. You should here a click in the passenger side door that is the relay. If you hear the click, it is probably the motor. If they are not used much, the brushes tend to stick. That is why slamming the door sometimes works but it is still just a temporary solution. You can get just the motor at OReileys for about $60 or the whole regulator and motor off of ebay for about $250.
If you do not here the click, it could be the wiring or the switch but since neither of the switches work, I would bet on the relay in the door control module. There is a post on how to change out just that relay so you don't have to buy the whole module. You can do a search and find that in this section.
Thanks for all the replys, i slammed the door several times and it still doesnt work, wiggled the wires and still doesnt work I also didnt hear a click. Im going to have to look at this in more detail tommorrow morning because its too dark right now
Mine did the same thing a year ago. Open the door and with the ignition on and the window down button held strike the door panel behind the speaker a couple of times. People on here call this the "Fonzi" method. This worked for me and I always roll the window up and down every couple of days to prevent it from sticking again. Mine hasn't given me a problem since.
Don't beat the snot out of it though, just a couple of firm hits should do it if it's only stuck.
After slamming and hitting my doors Ive also noticed that the door lock button on the passenger side is only locking/unlocking the driver door. I assume this is all related. Is there a relay thats not working?
I think you'd better check the connectors I told you about earlier in the hinge area. I'll post a picture so you'll know what to wiggle while you hold down the window switch with the ignition on.

My passengers side window quit working a week or so ago. I can hear the relay clicking in the passengers door when I push the button on the drivers side and on the passengers side.
Any ideas on this one.
Kind of sounds like the brushes must be stuck as mentioned earlier. This is my daily driver and I would like to be able to roll the windows down when it gets hot weather when I come out from work.

Mine quit working once too. I only heard the relay click. As mentioned above, turn on the key, open the passenger door. While holding the "window down" button down, take your fist and pound the **** out of the area around the lower, center of the door. Mine took 5 - 6 good raps before it started working again.
I took my door panel apart. And were everyone is saying to strike is a black relay box, striking it wont do **** its all electrical. I think the box is bad and I need to order a new one. Like I also said this isnt just the passenger side window but the door lock as well. Also all the motors for the windows and locks are on the inner side of the door, since corvette doors have two layers
