Optima Battery Cover (pics)

Finally got my Optima Battery cover in the mail today.. Here are a few pics so you can see if you'd want to get one...

It doesn't look much better than the top of the battery to me. Now if you send it to AutoBuffs, I think you'd have something special.

I got it from Optima.. I asked them via email (at questions@optimabatteries.com) how to get one, and they responded saying they would be happy to send me one for............ FREE!

The Battery is held down by a puck at the bottom, so no strap is required.

The cover is cosmetic only... It just covers the unused top terminals.

Or just have a good local auto body painter do the same thing(as Autobuffs) for about 1/3 the price. ;)

I like that cover along with the price. I have the yellow top but prefer the red color. Maybe I will see if I can get a cover also...Thanks for the pointer and post...

Also, the cover is not air-tight. You can see the holes in it in the picture.
