Not so well, its really for a F-body. But, I've tracked down almost all the updates I need to make to it. EOT, and Low Oil I have to run new wires for them. The Alt connection is for a two wire Alt and I have a three, so maybe a new wire for that as well. And I also need to review the power wires coming off the fuses to make sure they route to the correct fuses. Its a big job, but I still think it can be done. I'm not doing anything to the old harness until I'm confident it can work!
Sounds like you got the wrong application; I'd give PW a quick call. Have them send the proper one overnight along with a call tag for the one you have.
I have a little over 100k. The tie rod ball joint is pretty loose on some of its motioin. I would not worry if it were only a street Vette, but I'm doing about 5 HPDE type weekends each year. So, I want everything to be in great shape, not just good. I broke down several times last year, and want to avoid that as much as possible
Or a good vise with soft jaws and insert a roll pin into hole where the pin acts as a stop against the vise jaw in direction of rotation. I would try to avoid buggering up the piece.
Deffinatly agree with you on changing them out, alot of stresses there, especialy on the track.
