The car that is.
Just for kicks I pulled things out & weighed them. I had to take out the pass side seat because I dropped something under it & couldn't get to it any other way.

I think your scale is messed up..
Front seat is NOT 44 lbs
3 hatch covers, 7 lbs?? No way bro..
my current configuration is not equipped with the spousal unit, so I'm no expert, but it's an interesting fact that removal of the GF unit is no where near as significant of a weight loss as removal of the spousal module.
typically what you will learn in life, is after the ring gets put on the finger, the weight increases in direct proportion to how much money you spend on your cars over time...

dogboy can you elaborate on the hatch covers. Are you refering to the 2 small covers and 1 large cover? I can't see that being 7lbs either.
These are the 3 snap down covers under the trunk mat that cover the small side wells and the center one in the coupe. I found it hard to believe myself and weighed them 3 times.
Goodyear run flats (all 4 tires) are another 45 pounds of weight you can take off versus non run flats.. Run flats are extremely heavy due to the sidewalls. Borla stinger cat back exhaust saved another 20 lbs over the heavy stock cat back exhaust
If those are the results then those calculators are good for nothing. Plus they do not factor in where the weight is lost. Lose 100lbs from the interior of the car and it is nothing like losing 100lbs in wheels/tires/rotors. Lose 100lbs in the nose and it is not like losing 100lbs in the rear. Know what I mean?
The general rule is 100lbs=.1 but it is a general rule since there is more to consider than just total weight lost. It may not be a fancy formula like in that link but fancy formulas don't always mean better results.
