Hoping for some advice and help here in diagnosing recent codes. Went to start my car yesterday to take it to work and I get the dreaded Service ABS and Service Traction Control. I go to pull codes and see PCM P0103 and TCS C1214. I have seen the C1214 code before and know it is due to my EBCM. I pulled the EBCM Module and I am shipping to ABS Fixer. Now, the P0103 has me puzzled. I just got my car back from ECS where they installed H/C with FAST 90/90. Cam is fairly aggressive in upper 230s with 113 LSA, I also have a brand new Honker CAI. I noticed a hard start issue this past weekend when the car did not catch and I had to crank it for 5 -10 secs before it stated. Car also does not seem to be running quite as smoothly as it did when I first picked it up a few weeks ago.
I have tried unplugging the MAF connector and reconnecting. I was able to re-set the P0103 code with the ignition in the ON postion, but as soon as I start the car it comes back. Any suggestions on where to start looking? Appreciate any help you all can offer.
The P0103 is set when the MAF is reporting a value that is "out of range" .... it reports air mass by a signal of between 2,000 and 12,000 Hz, but to set the code the MAF is reporting a signal above 14,000 Hz and it is doing it for more than 1.2 seconds.
I'd call ECS and see if they have any recommendations. Otherwise, check the wiring to the MAF, and then replace the MAF.
BlackZ06 - Thanks for the quick reply. Would this be the cause of some of the hard start issues and rough running I have experienced the past few days? I was thinking of pulling the MAF and inspecting to see if there is any oil or debri on the wires. This really bums me out as I have only had the car back from the tuner a couple weeks. I have only driven it a couple times since picking it up from ECS.

Guess I will be calling Chris on Monday.
Can't hurt to inspect the MAF, but it is unlikely to "fix" the problem. The diagnostic in the Service Manual says to unplug MAF and with scan tool ascertain PCM is seeing 0 Hz ..... basically making sure there isn't a short in the wiring ... then it says "replace the MAF".
HOWEVER, I would do a quick check with ECS in case they did something "special" that the service manual wouldn't expect.
If the MAF sensor was dirty it normally would "under report" the air mass, rather than deliver such a "high" reading. And definately the MAF reporting incorrect amounts would lead to hard starting and other driveability problems.
