They where featured on Horsepower TV yesterday. They got an extra 5.8 HP and scant better fuel efficiency. I searched around about them and it looks like more "snake oil"!
A spark plug is a spark plug- i've heard that some guys say that their car runs better with these types of plugs--but chances are the they just needed a new set period-any plug would make it run better--Having the correct heat range is more important--correct gap--and unfouled--
I was a pro racer for 23 years--if they in fact made more power all the race teams would be using them--i've never seen anyone use these new designs--
i saw that on hp tv also. the e3's did in fact make more hp than the other premium plug they tested. both were test on the show in a motor and on a dyno. with that being said, i'de still stick with the 100k mile ac delco iridiums. there will be no gain on a c5 from using these plugs without an pcm update/tune. even when you upgrade to the 41-985's the dealer has a pcm update that can be put in to optimize the pcm for that updated spark plug.

Personally, I think the iridium plugs have the best characteristics. A spark jumps the easiest from a sharp point. I'd also think the best plug would be one with both electrodes pointed, like the iridiums but with the side electrode also pointed facing the center one. These E3's don't seem to have that but then who can tell because there are no real pictures of the actual plugs.

5.8hp..... wonder how much the vendor paid to get that statement.
Just like the commercial that aired on HPtv yesterday promising 45 cents a gallon fuel savings.
Those shows have turned into a sales forum. They build something for 15 minutes and sell crap for the other 15.
I have lost all respect for power block. :BS
I was thinking the same thing watching the show - they do a review on a product and the next commercial break is that very same product -
Power Block does seem to be heading the way of infomercial!
Man you naysayers really are dumb ...... I combined the following technologies and I am MAKING "free" energy every time I drive my car ..... let alone my lawnmower ......
And you will be MAKING FUEL as you drive your car, cut your lawn, or blow leaves off your driveway.
Now look, I've let you folks in on a series of technologies that the oil companies, car companies, the government, and Briggs & Stratton have spent BILLIONS of dollars to hide from you.
Speaking of hiding .... I'm under my couch .... the black helicopters (they have no lights turned on) are circling my house ..... I have a document that shows that a new technology for the muffler bearings can gain us another 22 miles per gallon .... but I promise you I will not surrender until either the car companies admit to this conspiracy .... or the Clinton's admit they are holding Elvis as a hostage in their basement at the house in Chappaqua ....
I refuse to allow the Americam public to be fooled anymore ......
