Default Help!!!! Catback Install

I am in the process of installing my new exhaust system but I think the previous owner removed some of the parts I need when he installed the borla system. Can somebody show me a picture of the muffler hangars? I searched but I couldnt find any. Also if anyone has the part number os what I need that would be a big help also.
Thanks Bob

no pics but, what do you think is missing? the only hangars are the 2 rubber mounts under the crashbar at the back bumper.

Bob, your profile is not filled out. I'm assuming your asking about a c/5? There are no hangers on a c/5,catback system. There is a two bolt flange w/gasket that goes before going up and over the rear end. Then the muffler part, should have a flat shaped spear that slides into a slot at the rear bumper. This bracket that has a slot in it is held in place w/two nuts. Hope this helps.

I took some pics when I installed the borla on my friend's Z.

Go on my site and click on the "Borla CatBack on Z06" link.

Do not unbolt or remove the rear hangers, just slip the old system out and the new one in. The bolts are not captured and can push back up into the rear end necessitating removal of the whole rear clip to get them back in place.

Thanks your pics showed me what I am missing. I do not have the brackets on the rear at all. The bolts and nuts are still there though.

Check mufflers you took off -- what was holding them up?

Default Borla

It was the Borla System that only had 1 muffler in place of the stock H-pipe so the brackets were near the sway bar

You can go over a loading dock but be careful to not go OVER the loading dock.
