I recently replaced the oil pressure sensor and now my A/C is coming out of the defroster and not blowing hard out of the front vents. From what I have read this is caused by a vacuum leak from one of the lines behind the intake manifold. My question is what parts am I going to need in order to fix the A/C? This is my only car and I want to make sure I have everything on hand before I take the manifold off. Do I just need to get some hose to replace the bad section or is it a specific part. I have read that some of the vacuum lines are typically hard plastic lines. Also there is a loud air hiss coming from that general area of the engine. I imagine the two are related but wanted to run that by yall as well. The engine runs fine just the A/C is not working right and the air sound. I currently have a 1999 corvette.
Sorry if I have been too vague and I appreciate the help.

Reason: Clarify Car year
You probably left the line off or broke the vacuum port it connects to.
You might be able to see back there with a mirror or drill the hole people use to replace the oil pressure sensor so you can see.
Ya, I think its pretty easy to not have it connected. I put some hose over it to make it longer and easier to put on. I can't tell you the diameters, sorry. But, you only need a few inches, so go by the parts store and buy 6 inches of each size thats close...
The line its self is fairly robust, I doubt you damaged it or the port.

Ok, so based on your description of the problem, and the sound, you either broke the vacuum line, or simply left it off. I would start off by reaching back there and seeing if the elbow is even connected to the intake. Do you remember removing the elbow from the intake, or did you remove the line from the elbow?
