Where can you buy a new or different engine like 383 or 408 something in that range looking for 500 horse on all engine no boost no nos.

you can go right to katech and get the budget 427 short block for short money...about 7k (one thing you dont have to worry about is the quality of the machine or assembly)

but b4 i would spend that i would ask yourself what are you going to do with the car?

drag race?
road race?
race day on the highway?

what is your budget?

that being said if you look on the c5 parts you will see a vender who is selling complete short/long blocks- the builder is the same builder who does Hennessey's viper engines..... he would be my first call...

I have been looking at shortblocks for a while. I found this to be a great deal. They have many more choices too.

I am having LME build my forged 347. Have someone build you one that knows what they are doing and uses GOOD parts. Mine should be very close to 500 rwhp on motor, then im throwing some juice at it

so if i buy the 427 for 5k how much to make it fully assembled and ready to put in the car?
