Default Tpms Confusion

I read for about two hours about other folks TPMS issues but I could not find what I need to set me straight. I have a 98 conv. with only 27,000 miles that has the factory wheels and GY Eagle EMT tires. 1st both key fobs work flawlessly, 2nd the DIC says service TPMS. 3rd the LF, RF, and LR sensors will beep the horn but the RR sensor will not beep. 4th all 4 tire pressure readings are blank. I really dont want to go to my local Chevy and get my brains drilled out. I usually can figure most thing out with some help from reading the forum but so far I am stumped on this matter. Any help would be welcome.

Sounds like the right rear one is bad. Also none will show you a reading until you get it up to over like 10 miles a hour.

I hope that helps. You can buy one TPS online then have a decent tire shop install it for you.

Your sensors are probably at least 11 years old. There's a good chance that they have expired from natural causes. Those on my '99 are still functioning, but I'm preparing to ante up for replacements any day now.

Thank You for the replies, I just got home from work and was glad to see I got some help from you kind folks. I would say that you are probably right about the RR sensor being bad. Again thank you to those who replied.
P.S. I am new to this Forum and I think it's GREAT!!!
