I use both EFIlive and HPtuners. Both are very good tools. Theres quite a learning curve with either if you're not a tuner. The best thing is to join either forum, and learn as much as you can about the electronics of the car.
ringram is your European EFIlive rep. Deal with him. He knows whats goin on.
Any other info, feel free to PM or email me.
I am buying an EFI live V3 for my 2015 Ram 6.7 I also have a 91 C4 do you know if I can get a customer tune for the L98 engine and flash he ECU with this tuner?

Cheese and rice, this thread is from 2008! And no, the ancient L98 is not supported by EFILive. And I'm pretty sure the red Cummins tuners don't do gas motors, but don't quote me. If you want to run the L98 off of a GM PCM that can be tuned, I recommend a 411 swap but that's a matter for a whole 'nuther thread for your motor.
And whoever said HPT was easier to tune with is full of it. Even back as far as 08 they had autoVE and autoMAF, now they have calc.vet and calc.maft that tunes both in a single log. Copy, paste, blend, done!
6.7 diesel and an L98 have one thing in common they make tires rotate. Was just wondering. Actually now I am pretty happy with the L98. It gets very good gas mileage and with all the deletes I can do and adding dual exhaust ..... it is still underpowered but good enough.
