Default driver side door = no power

all the power in my door is gone. I can't roll my windows up/down, my memory is out... all of it gone. I know that being electrical it could be any number of things, but is this a common issue that might have something I can check first? I hate trying to find electrical problems and am hoping someone may be able to point me in the right direction.

Try looking in the Instrument Panel fuse block and see if the following fuses are OK ...

Fuse 33 - 10 Amp
Fuse 34 - 25 Amp

If either is blown ... the door will basically be dead ....

If they are OK ... post again.

Default It's happened to me

It's a common issue and most likely its the wiring harness that is within the accordion tube connecting the door to the body. Sometimes just shaking the accordian tube re-establishes the connection for me. You may want to dig the wire harness out and check the connections for any corrossion between the connectors. Hope this helps.

fuses are fine. i just finished checking the the connections behind the door panel, and there seems to be power going in and out of the harness, and that the actual switch panel may be the culprit. i'll get back to you guys soon. please keep the ideas coming.

My driver side door had no power and my instrument panel wood display reduced engine power gauges would tank and service vehicle soon and the ABS would come up and the radio will turn off My issue was with the door module two bottom plugs green and black prongs were smashed needed to be straightened once I did that all power came back no more messages on the instrument panel problem solved.
