2002 Active Handling
The cruise control on my 2002 Corvette has started intermittently dropping out and it appears to be tied to the Active Handling system activating when nothing is going on. I'm going straight ahead on a dry road, the "Active Handling" message appears and then the cruise drops out. The car drives fine and there is no indication that the Active Handling system has actually applied braking - just the message.

Whenever the AH activates it will turn off cruise. If you are getting intermittent activation while driving straight down the road you may have a sensor that is bad, or moved or the steering may need to be aligned. Run the codes on the DIC (turn on ignition, push and hold options button while pushing the fuel button 4 times) to see if you have any trouble codes showing and post them here. Have you had any work done recently inside the cabin?
