Usually, but not always, you get what you pay for. Most reputable manufactures spend a hell of a lot of time and money designing and testing their headers. A good set of headers is a lot more than 4 pipes welded together.
I watched an F1 prerace show on speed this morning and one of the topics was the exhaust manifold on an F1 car - two guys hand build them ( one guy for the righjt side, the other guy for the left) a set lasts one race and a couple of pratice rounds and cost about 30 grand. Wonder why they don't buy the off E-Bay?
Didn't realize Dynatech Headers had fitment issues... Mine didn't
My SuperMaxx headers were not only very well made, they bolted right in with ZERO fitment issues whatsoever. I've never seen a Dynatech Airtube connection break, nor any other welds. These headers come with the O2 Sensor Extentions, Header gaskets & Flange Gaskets, bolts, Mid Pipe, Cats, Instructions, and absolutely everything you'll need. I don't think there's a more complete set currently sold on the market.
If you Want to buy Ebay headers and have someone hack and slash the rest of your exhaust with a plasma cutter and a welder, be my guest, but I'm very satisfied with my Dynatech headers and would buy them again if I had to...
Money well spent in my opinion.

My Dynatech experience has been extremely positive as well. Don't know anything about the EBAY headers.

I can also say my Dynatech Supermaxx headers bolted up perfectly and had "Zero" issues. Look for a used set if money is a concern. I have no experience with "ebay" headers so I can't help you there.
The Dynatech and other name brand usually can come as a package with everything you need and Hi-Flow cats so you do not have to piece a system together.
Installed my LG Pros in my garage this weekend, with car on jackstands. No problems, everything lined up, didn't have to pry, bend, hammer, weld, or do anything other than line up the exhaust tips and tighten up the bolts. Couldn't be happier with the quality of design and construction, and oh yeah, THE PERFORMANCE!
That is not the story I've read or seen in forum pictures of the e-bay specials.
My ebay header story goes like this, i got them for $300 and some change, took about 4 hours to install only had to bend ac line out of the way. drove to exhaut shop had them cut cats out and hook h pipe to headers, $60. dynoed 330 rwhp with out a tune, ran a 12.8@112 in vegas with a tune. all and all im pretty happy for $400.
Another thing to consider is not all Headers are that expensive if you find them used in the parts for sale section. I know I saved a ton of cash and if your timing's right, so can you!
