Default I hate my seat.

Does anyone know of a different "fix" for the rocking seat problem. I did the teflon washer mod, and it didn't help. This is driving me nuts. Thanks in advance.

I dont know about others, but in the case of [I]my[I] rocking seat problem it wasnt the washer/disassemble project everyone describes here. The cause for motion in my seat was the end bushing where the "screw rod" channels through the mount. Use had caused it to round out the hole so that it allows the rod itself to move which in turns allows the seat to "rock". Hope it helps.

If it makes you feel better your not alone. I did the above fix and I still get a little rock. I have had the seat out several times and I can't seem to get it to stop.

Thanks for the info. I saw this thread a while back, but couldn't find it last time I looked. I think I might try this one.

Did you come up with a way to fix it? Maybe a bushing?
