Hid Problem
hey i got a hid problem i bought a set of hid will not mention any brands
bulbs were tested at store worked fine. i hook one side up to my c5 and nothing happened is this cause i need to hook both sides up to work or maybe iam doing something wrong the factory plug goes in to the ballast
right?. i know i will prob need hid wiring harness with a relay but i was told u dont need it to work just so u dont have to flip high beams so the headllight go down .

One side should work, if it is wired correctly, if the engine is running, if you didn't blow the headlight fuse, if the ballast is OK

ok....thought i was going crazy when i installed mine...at the connection (if i remember correctly where the stock plug went on the plug to the ballast...it is reversable....where the stock plug is only one way IE got the clip on one side....flipped it....bingo lights worked...dont know what brand you have...i dont have to do the bright light flicker maneuver for mine to work though

nah i didnt blow the fuse i checked i just wanted to wire one up just to see before i put the other one in u know there plug ins i didnt have the engine running tho maybe i will give it another shot something so easy can become so hard lol
