long tube headers and tune?
Hello all, you have a great forum here. I purchased my first C5 a couple of weeks ago and I love it. I found this forum and have been reading alot of good information on here. Of course, I already have the bug to make the car faster. My car is a 01 convertible. The only mods so far are a Halltech Venom CAI and Magnaflow cat back exhaust with X-pipe(model 15660). Sounds good, although a little tame, but I love the sound at idle. Other than that, the car is stock. My question is, now I am planning on some long tube headers. I am looking at the Kook's, but am open for suggestions. I have read that I am going to need a tune for the LT's. How do I go about finding a good place to do this in my area? I am willing to travel some, but I still dont know how to find a good place. I live in central Illinois by Peoria. Any other ideas for some bolt on HP would be greatly appreciated. I know this question gets asked alot, so forgive me. And yes, from reading many other posts, I know I need a hood seal and a turbonator.
