Default Aamco ????

You're kidding ... right ???????

Aamco .... I wouldn't take a Ford Pinto into an Aamco shop ... let alone a Corvette ....

FIRST .... DO NOT RUN THE ENGINE .... With that low an oil pressure, and no idea why it is so low, you run significant risk of doing serious damage to the engine by running it any longer.

SECOND ... you need to notify Aamco (and start documenting) that they have damaged your engine. Did you realize your pressure was so low when you picked up the car? Did you mention it to the shop when you picked up the car??

Have you checked the dipstick ??? Is the oil level correct ?? If they did an oil change and put too little oil back in the engine could cause this problem. Can you see oil leaking ?? Look on the ground under the car. What work, besides the clutch, did they do ???? Check your invoice.

Just changing a clutch should not have caused an oil pressure problem .... but if they jacked the car on the oil pan, they could have damaged that. If they put an incorrect oil filter on, it MIGHT cause this problem.

If you can't find the problem yourself, TOW THE VEHICLE to a reputable service shop. DO NOT DRIVE THE VEHICLE.

Do not take it back to Aamco ... you need to take it to a shop that KNOWS the Corvette LSx engine.

Fill out your profile so people can figure out where you are, often people local to you can give you a recommendation for a good shop.

Could also be something simple like they messed up the oil pressure sending unit. Make sure you call Aamco and speak with the manager, document everything and let them know they have a bill coming!! If your valvetrain isn't ticking and your engine isn't clattering, your oil level is full, chances are they just screwed up the oil pressure circuit somehow.

Wow that's def not supposed to happen. Document everything. Either the oil pressure sender is messed up, your oil level is low, they did something incorrect, or they romped the hell out of your car while it was there.
