Need help with these choices!

I have the choice of installing a better cam in my 98 A4 which will boost hp up another 30-25 hp or so...or I can hold off on that and install a set of 3.42's w/a yank 3000 torque converter. What should I do first??? :confused: And does anyone have a Transgo shift kit installed?? Is it a good mod..I have one on the way. Guess we will know soon enough. :lol:

I would say all three are good choices, but I think I would go with the gears and the T/C first!

I agree :seeya I think the 3.42's and TC will rock your world :yesnod: As far as the Transgo, I just read a thread on them and everyone seemed to like once they got there cars dialed in.

Gears & TC first. Oh and if you decide to do a cam, do underdrive pulleys at the same time to save on labor.

I'll be the oddball here. :crazy: If you already have 3.15 gears I would go with the cam/intake/headers. If you have 2.73 gears then go with the TC and 3.42.
