Changing starter on a 1998?

Changing starter on a 1998?
Does anyone know how to replace the starter or would I be better off going to the dealer? I have ramps that will lift the front 8 inches. I think the exhaust will need to come down. Any info or instruction would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Larry

Its a cake walk! Two mounting bolts and two nuts on the back of the solenoid. You should use a torque wrench to re-torque the starter mounting bolts to the correct torque. I believe its 37 ft/ lbs but don't quote me on that. ill look it up tonight for you if you PM me to jog my memory to do it for you!
Make sure that you wire brush clean the wire eyelets and make sure there nice and tight on the solenoid.
I have headers so,,,I cant comment on the status of your stock exhaust. headers are a MUST to be removed on the PASS side.
