The lowering kit is for the back. It is basically just longer bolts than the stock ones, that let you lower it quite a bit without having to cut the bushings.
$50 ? who charges $50? I have them for $28 right now. You can accomplish the same thing, to a point, by cutting the bushings. But with the kit you have a lot more adjusability and you can put it back to stock without buying more bushings
Here in town there is a place called, "fire & fastners". The parts there total to about $3.30, but $5.00 is the minimum. Oh no, how can they charge $5.00 for a couple of bolts w/hardware?
Better than what these other places are charging. I would like some of these other places to explain why they charge so much for nothing. I have noticed this with alot of parts for my hummer as well. A $69.00 lift kit for, say a chevy. This would have the delrin "bushings" and a couple bolts & hardware. A Good profit for what is in it.
Almost exactly the same kit (3" dia. pucks & bolts pretty much the same) for a hummer with a few more pieces = $500!!! I ended up making my own at work with my co-workers help. This cost a little over a tenth of that, including the labor.
Why is it when it comes to corvettes, hummers = fancy cars?, etc SOME (not all) people/businesses get greedy?

Because there is ALWAYS someone who will pay the price. and if one someone will, another will and so on. Free enterprise. Buyer beware and all that stuff.
