IMHO the best ones are home made. I believe instructions are listed in the tech section but in a nut shell:
-Just use 2 hockey pucks per jacking puck (to allow for compression when jacking).
-I used a large eye screw (one per puck) and a few smaller screws to hold each one together
-Make sure the eye screw is the proper size to fit into the slot on the frame.
This is really simple and will save you $ to put towards mods.
The best ones by far are the ones that aren't jacking pucks at all. The are the rocker rails from Andy at A&A! I put them on my car and the pucks I bought are now obsolete! You can put it on one of those lifts like they have at the tire stores, you know with the big flat rubber pads that go under the frame, and just lift away. You can put your jack stands in the same place you would if you had the pads! Plus you protect your rockers if you high center the car on big speed bumps!
I have no affiliation w/ Andy, I just love my rocker rails!
I have no affiliation with A&A, either, but just wanted to mention that Andy's offering 20% of the rocker rails, frame savers, and lowering bolts 'til the end of the year.
I concur with the posting made by C5Noir. While the other recommendations will all suffice, I can only speak for the type that C5Noir pictures in response to your query. I purchased the same pucks from West Coast Corvettes for $70 for a set of four.
One thing to note on these pucks is the slotted top piece which allows you to insert them into your C5's frame rail and lock them in place while preparing to jack your car. This allows for precise positioning and it just so happens that the floor jack I use fits percectly over the edge of the puck which prevents any slippage as the car is raised.
The $70 price was a little more than I wanted to pay, but I am more than satisfied with them. :chevy
Hockey pucks sell for 99 cents a piece and put an eye bolt in them and you got a lifting puck.
I totally agree. 4 pucks 4 dollars.. and you only need one for each jacking point.. why make something so simple so difficult... my car is so low anyway one puck is all I need...

Didn't I read, somewhere that those points shouldn't be used as jacking points? Or at least, not one point at a time, like with a floor jack?
Thanks everyone for the info on the pucks. I think I'll start with the hockey puck route and see how they work. Worst case is I'm out a whole 4 bucks for 4 pucks!
I purchased my jacking pucks from Corvette Accessories (see site below). I have yet to use them. But I will be sure to tell my tech at the dealership to use them when I bring her in for her yearly state inspection in a couple of months.
I have a set of billet machined aluminum pieces with magnets to help them stick and also a set of hockey pucks just like Al's. I keep these in one of the rear storage compartments.
Great ideas guys! Good 'ol Yankee Ingenuity! I'll be off to Home Depot and to the Sporting Goods store today. I also like the idea of keeping them in the car if you ever have to go to the dealer. :chevy :seeya
