Radio Security Lock
I went through the column lock a few months ago, and once I got my car back, the stereo was locked. No problem, I went to the local dealer and they had it unlocked in about 5 minutes. I was wondering if there's a way to change this code now that I do have the stereo unlocked, or do I need the old code? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Dave

I believe you need the old code, which I think are the same on all cars from the factory. Unless your car has a previous owner who changed it. There is a simple procedure to follow to set a user code. I have talked to many, many owners who don't know about it. I activated mine just for the cool red light that blinks.:) I can't imagine anyone actually wanting to steal that head unit when you can buy one that does all it does and more, for 39 bucks these days, with installation!
