it keeps coming up with code P0332 Knock Sensor (KS) Circuit Rear -B....? the car runs fine with the light off but seems to be down on power when the light is on. Probably it is pulling timing but I have no knocking or pinging. Has anyone changed the knock sensor? where is it on the car, how muchdoes it cost and where can I get one?

The sensors are located just under the instake manifold. Takes about 30 minutes or so to pull it and its easy. Make sure you blow away any sand, leaves and other junk, BEFORE you remove the intake. The sensors are pretty cheap and even though I bought them myself before I don't remember the price now. Will guess they are around $25 each. Check with Gene Culley at www.gmpartshouse.com as the prices change.

Maybe you can cut two holes in the intake to access the knock sensors, just make sure you duct tape them up real good.

Seriously, the intake is not that hard to do. It seems daunting, but once you get started its not so bad. Just have a good set of instructions on hand. To be honest, its probably not much more work than cutting a hole in the cowl... Well, except for the two rear bolts, kind of PIA...

I'd be afraid that you nicked a wire when drilling the cowl, or getting a socket on the sensor. The wiring runs right around that area. It would be an easy fix, but still you would need to remove the intake.

I agree. Getting the intake out and back in, is pretty easy. Using tape on the right rear bolt makes it easier...holds it up till its back in place. Seriously, the intake is easy and the knock sensors are right there. If you are going to do it, replace both.
