Does anyone know or have the part number to the sensor that goes into the EBCM. I am going to go ahead and replace it while my motor is out Any cons of doing so??
There is no "sensor" in the EBCM. It is basically a computer that gets data from sensors around the car, and activates the BPMV when it wants to control one or more brake calipers.
Its not broke so it doesnt need to go to absfixer. I have just replaced the pigtail that goes right into it so there has to be some type of sensor. I have hardly looked at it but I think I also saw where you could get a wrench on it so im guessing there is something there.

What code is the EBCM posting ??
Again, I know what it does I just thought that since the motor was out, it might be something I could easily get to that may prevent me from doing it in the future
There is definantly a sensor on the drivers side of the EBCM that the pigtail goes to......still looking tos see if there are any cons in changing it. Thanks
There a BRAKE PRESSURE sensor on the body of the BPMV, if thats what yiour talking about. There replaceable and a do it yourself project. I have two new in the box sensors sitting right in front of me!
