Procharger and NOISE
Anyone have experience with the new ATI Procharger P-1SC or D-1SC ?
I installed a P600B back in 1995 on my Firehawk, LT1 and it was fun, but
a bit to noisy for my taste !
I was hoping this new unit would be more quiet ?

BTW i know it has not neen installed on many C5`s yet :-), but it is the same
unit on F-body, so.......

When I ordered my kit for the C5, I spoke with a nice lady at ATI. I asked her about the "helixal" model as they describe it. I wanted this one because it should be quieter than previous designs.
She had told me that they already include it in the C5 kit and everything is: "top of the line in this kit".
I should recieve it sometime in january. It is too cold to put in though.
I won't know until about march, when it will be warm enough to install.

C5 NORWAY i also had a 95 Firehawk with a Pro Charger...It was noisy, but what an awsome car...I actually miss the noise, and am seriously thinking of one for my 01 Z06...Just want to see a few on the road and see if there are any bugs.. :cool:

I have not heard both the P1SC and D1SC, but I was told the D1SC is louder. I would expect to hear both though.
