I have a 2001 C5 Coupe which I purchased new and drive about 5K miles a year...........went to go to our Corvette Club meeting and was suprised to find my left rear tire was flat (tires are new with about 2K miles) filled it with air and checked for a nail, etc. but none were found so I took tire off the next day and in trying to find the leak I discovered the spoke was seperating from the rim and that was the source of the leak. I did a serch on the net and to my suprise found this forum had reported this as a problem. my concern is that I never even thought this could be a problem and no recall had been done. I am going to my dealer today to see his response but from what I've read hopes aren't high but am not a happy man. Safety issues of this kind should be a priority with GM. Thanks to this forum and am glad I didn't find out the hard way with a crash or worse and because of ignorance I placed my family members in harms way. I will be e-mailing all my club members who also have C5's to check there rims also.
This came up a few times with aftermarket and reproductions wheels, but usually not with OEM wheels. I guess you have the thin spokes? One of the reasons I love my thick spoke wagon wheels. I would replace all of the wheels.

Good luck at the dealer.
It's been my understand that it's quite the opposite with the OEM thinspokes cracking.
I also discovered a cracks on two spokes of my left rear wheel.
These cracks seem to have developed only the RPO QF5 high polished wheels.Yes, the same wheels that were a $1200 option in 2001!
GM offered no assistance to me with this.
Not that it changes the frustration with the cracking issue, but according to my information the QF5 option was priced @ $895 for model year 2000 and 2001. So far, no cracking issues with my polished thin spokes..........
