Default Double Din Mod

Has anyone modded the bezel for a double din on a tan interior (04 lemans ext, tan interior). Looking to find out what compound you used and paint to match the current color.
Thanks

Are you saying the console is tan? My car has tan interior and I have done a double din mod on it, but the console is/was still black.

Was that the commemorative edition? If I am reading this right then the same would apply to the 50th anniversary cars. I think GM called the interior Shale, they may have some dye.

SEM makes interior dyes. You can take your part into a paint and body supply shop to have them mix it up. PPG has an interior dye system as well. I recommend you use Bulldog adhesion promoter and clean your plastic well to prevent fisheye and other adverse chemical reactions prior to applying the color coat. I would also recommend you clear it when you're done. There is a satin clear available if you desire. There may also be an interior color code they can use to match your paint.
