I spend the day installing a set of C6 Z51 sway bars on my FRC today. I took my time but it wasn't too hard. Probably around the same level of difficulty as an oil change.
Made a noticeable difference for sure! Especially since my rear end doesn't squeak anymore.
I took a picture which compares the new metal end links with the links found on 1997-2000 C5's. As you can see, the metal end links are much sturdier than the previous design.
I did the sway bars a few weeks ago and found that I have outrageous understeer and then I noticed the hood seems to be squeezed together from each side and is buckling in the middle. The center of the hood is now higher than the nose of the car. I not sure how this happened as I bought the ZO6 bars from GM and I already had the metal end links as the car has the magnetic suspension.
