Tranny info needed.
Anyone give advice about running a transgo shift kit along with a torque converter (super yank 3000) in a 98 A4..I am looking for the torque converter right now and will install it along with the transgo as soon as it comes in. I will also add my new ngk tr55 plugs and msd wires at the same time. I have 3.15's right now and am wondering what kind of improvement I will see with this set up. My installer said that I could have gone with the hppIII instead of the transgo, but I already have it now..so its going in now. What do you guys and gals think? Other upcoming mods..MTI cam and underdrive pulley plus new baer rotors/brake pad combo and new tires. Whewwww..My wallet will feel a thousand times lighter by then..but my smile while drivin my vette will be a thousand times bigger! :D
