fuel injectors??

What is the differance between my 99 injectors and the injectors in a friend of mines 85 corvette! Any suggestions on replacements for the 85 model! Any help or suggestions would help alot. Thanks in advance!

The L-98 uses only one O2 sensor for the ECM feedback loop so left to right balance of the injectors is very important. In my opinion, you want a set of balanced 24# injectors (85 is different then other l_98's, more later). I went with RC Engineering which are essentially balanced Lucas injectors (not the old Lucas, but Lucas Aerospace). They are stainless steel inside so they are very resistant to water. Mine were balanced within 0.3% of each other. They also have a rise time of 0.1 msec so they are very precise. They were $63 each. On the 85, if my memory is correct, the injectors were 22# but were rated at a lower pressure. As such, they equate to 24# injectors when rated at the standard pressure.

Thanks! That is the info I was looking for! Do you have a # or web site for this RC eng. that you can give me. He is needing these and does not get on the web so I thought I would look for him!
