Transmission Hydrolics possible cause for problems?
I have a Textralia Clutch and a newer GM slave but it all has around 10k miles now. The car has also received a tranny build from Tick Performance and it shifts like a dream around town and seems to be a lot quieter than before the build.
The car is a H/C car with a built 3.90 rear. I am experiencing troubles shifting at WOT redline rpms. It almost feels like the gate isn't there when trying to shift hard. I bled the clutch so the fluid is crystal clear (used the ranger recommended Prestone). Still the car does not like to be shifted at redline rpms which is around 6700 rpms now. Im thinking its the master cylinder not being able to release quick enough? Any thoughts?
I was going to pick up a Mcleod but they are on back order. Would the RAM rebuild work for what Im needing or are a not that great a unit?
