prob w/ pass window trim
There appears to be a thin black piece of foam coming out from underneath the hard plastic trim around the passenger window (the vertical piece. There's no way I can tell to tuck it back in. It's doesn't seem I can even fit a fingernail in beteen the plastic trim. I was contemplating just cutting the protruded portions but I'm not sure what this piece does. Ideas?

It might also be worth noting that all of this trim was replaced 4.5 years ago when the car was new land eaking like crazy by the dealership bodyshop.
