Does anyone know what needs to be done to convert the cd changer in the trunk to play from an Ipod instead of the changer? Im thinking this is possible but not sure what I would need to do this. Thank You
They have an adapter that you can buy (I can't remember where I got mine) that allows you to pipe AUX input thru your stock headunit as long as you have the changer wiring. There are regular RCA plugs on the converter so any IPOD cable with those outputs can be adapted....mine works decently...the sound is a little muffled but not bad.
If you have the CD player, you can just leave it in there, and tap into the line (under the passenger area footwell) with a 4-pole relay or switch. I have a relay in mine, works great. Keep your CD player and save $100. Here's a recent thread on this: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=2008023
If you have no CD player, then you need an adapter such as the iPod2Car adapter.
There were a LOT of threads on both of these topics about 2-3 years ago -- but you need to use the advanced search feature to find threads that old.

Do a search on this forum for IPOD2CAR. I don't have the changer and had to pull the radio, but I know I saw some threads that spoke to how to do this.
The guy who sells the IPOD2CAR can also tell you which adapter to buy.
The nice mounting device is a Proclip.
Its on my wife's DD and she loves it. her favorite mod.
