80mm BBK Throttle Body Question
Curently I have a self ported stock TB on a LS6 intake. Question is will I notice a gain by going to a 80 MM BBK TB?? I was going to go the Fast 92/LS2 TB route but thats another grand, if I can save $725 and gain another 5 whp then I will not get the fast (15 rwhp). Who has a bbk and has noticed some gains? FYI I will be installing a Vararam and TSP Stg 2.5 5.3l heads (unless I come up with some more money to get AFR's or TFS's).

I do not know about an LS6. However I replace the plastic factory intake on my LS1 with a bbk intake and 80 mm tb and gained more low end torque and more top end zap. It added about 25 hp from the crank. A bonus that I did not expect was about 2 more mpg, with will cause it to pay for itself eventually.
