Changing Plugs





Its all good.
I assume you are saying remove the coil packs on the left (drivers) side of the engine - and that is easy enough - if it works, awesome!!
I chose to remove the two AIR tube bolts on that side, and I was able to get my fat hands in there with plug-boot pulling pliers and pull the heat shield and boot off with no problems.
Additionally, I used a curved-handle, flex-head ratchet wrench that I bought for $8 at Harbor Freight to ease the job of getting the plugs broken free. Once they are broken free, you can use your hands to unscrew them (usually...)

Wrestled around with taking all the air tube hoses off the drivers side. mggn posted his DIY in my thread about the 100,000 myth!! I am DEFIANTLY keeping the tube removal in my mental arkive for the next time.Moving the hoses helped,,but moving the whole system is even better.
I need to learn how to link as I like to forward Mggn's DIY!!

but I've never had to do eithermaybe it's because I don't even try to use my hands to pull or replace the plug
