Tire pressure message

DIC it tells me service my tire pressure sensor system does anybody know if you can disconnect that message

The only way to get rid of the message is to pull the fuse if your running regular tires.

Without sensors.

If you have the original tire pressure sensors, the battery is probably shot in one of them.

Press reset and you'll find out which sensor is dead. The dead one will read XXX.

I have the same message showing on my '99. Did the reset thing several times, and it changes from LR XXX TO RR XXX . Depending how it feels.
If it is the batteries, how difficult to change and whats the model # ?

The TPMS can only be turned off in 2001 and newer C5s (when the Z06 came out without the TPMS).

The series I TPSs cost $91 each from Forum Vendors (Gene or Frictner's). You can switch entire system cheaper (2 fobs, 4 TPSs, and reciever) from Ebay.

Series I sensors are good for 7 years and 100,000 miles, so you are due if these are original.

He needs to say what he is trying to acomplish, Is it that he has no tire pressure sensors, Or is it that the ones that he has are causeing this message.....I myself have none on the car and I get this message....Thats why you pull the fuse....
