My dad has a 00' C5 with the stock, normal shocks. He wants some new shocks that will give him a soft ride, but he still wants to corner decent. I've done some searching on here, but all I found was people looking for performance oriented.
Bilstein HD - softer than Bilstein Sports and both z06 shocks (c5 + c6). Still perform great. I installed the HD on my 01 z51 two years ago and love them. They handle great - much better than my old z51 shock with only 30K on them. Smoother than z51 shocks on interstate and rough side roads, less wheel hop, corner better. Plus they are priced right ($299) so they are truly the best of both worlds.
Thanks for the input guys! After discussing it with my dad, he wants to do the Bilstein HD and will consider the sway bar upgrade if he decides he wants a more planted turn. He's running the stock run flats and won't consider anything else for it. Thanks again for the responses.

That's probably the largest cause of what he's trying to fix
