i just picked it up,the mech said he found some part of the vacum line bad,he fixed that,but he said he doesnt have vacum from the engine to the check valve,and he cant reach behind the engine to find it,,????????what can i check?also the oil pressure gauge is pegged when i bought it ..and still is
I had my AC fixed Friday 6/13/2008 All vents switch on all modes and gets really cold now.
Dealer has to remove intake manifold and fix broken vacuum line to vacuum tank that controls
the AC doors. Cost was $441.00 to fix. I am disabled from a stroke and could not do the repairs
myself.

Hi , Good job, just one word of caution, if you had battery acid spillage down there, if no one has cleaned it up properly in order to avoid future problems to the lines, electrical conections, and the computers that are in that region it would be very prudent to unplug the battery remove the tray and wash it all down with a baking soda solution, and then water, to get it all neutralized. Then carefully dry out all the components and the area, check for frame damage and repaint it all to protect it. There are threads on the How To, as streak has submitted. Not dealing with it is asking for troubles later as the acid keeps on eating.
