headlight problem
hi to you all......i am new to the forum, hoping you can help me with a problem....i have a 2000 vette coupe which i bought new......it has 13000 miles on it....yesterday when i was driving it( it had probably been about a year), i was trying to familiarize myself with the instrument panel......when i turned the lever to bring the headlights up, they came up, but when i turned it again to put them down, they both went down, but the driver's side popped up again about half way...it stayed the same after repeated attempts...what's going on......any info would be greatly appreciated.......thanks so much

There is a plastic stop that the motor arm hits at full open and full close position, and the full close one gets broken allowing the arm to continue past that position and it starts opening again.
