Default C6 Z51 sways install/purchase question.

Think I want to go with the C6 Z51 swaybars over the C5 Z06 ones. Question though, do I need to buy endlinks, since it sounds like the bars don't come with them.

I know early years the endlinks were plastic, but I think the ones on my 02 are metal. Should I upgrade them to the Z06 versions?

The metal end links u have are fine. Gene Culley sells the bars as a kit that includes both bars, and the rubber mounting bushings.

Look for his monthly specials post in the C6 forum for the kit part # I think you just have to put "C6Z51Bars" in the part number search on his site.

I put them on my car amout a month ago and couldnt be happier for the $$, allong with a set of bilstein sports the car handles awesome.

Yup.

You should have the metal end links... which will end up saving you around $80.

Here's a pic of the metal end links vs the composite links :

Thanks for the referral. I just added them to the C6 specials today!

||-- C6Z51 Sway Bar Kit--||

10323434 – Front stabilizer bar
10339124 – Rear stabilizer bar
10387838 (2) – Front stabilizer insulators
15241135 (2) – Rear stabilizer insulators

Complete kit front and rear is 178.54
Use part number c6z51bars on our website under Chevrolet make.

Many have been getting the same performance out of these C6 Z51 sway bars as you would by adding the C5 Z06 sway bars and this would be for a less expensive price! There are a few threads on the forum regarding this issue.

These sway bars do fit any C5 without any modifications.

This kit does not come with metal end links. If you want to add metal end links use part number 15907003 for $24.49 each.
