Heater is on

2003 Z06 30k miles
Got in the car today and the heat is on and I can't get it off. All the buttons seem to work OK.

Any guesses, places to start?

It happened to me a couple years ago. Try unplugging the ext temp sensor and then plug it back in. It's located on passenger side near the bottom of the radiator shroud.

Check for any stored HVAC trouble codes from BO332 to BO367.
You may have a stuck or defective HVAC actuator.

If you find any codes,try clearing them to see if it corrects things.

Well, I got in the car this morning and it still had the problem.

I turned the system off, and turned it back on with the MODE button.

I could hear the flap actuating on the passenger side and the system seems to work fine now.

I have got to increase my donations to the Corvette Gods. They are sending me warnings.
