Halltech Venom Install Question
Finally got around to installing my Halltech Venom Intake on 2003 Z06. All went well except for the small filter supplied that is supposed to go into the 1" air pump hose. The new small filter inlet tube appears too small for the hose to clamp securely....especially with the original OEM plastic clamp. Can anyone shed some light on this?

It also touches the hood way more than I would like with the hood shut.
