Halltech Venom Installation Issues
I installed my Halltech Venom intake yesterday. I managed to get it in the way it looks in the pictures (didn't come with instructions). The only problem is that it contacts the stock hood on my car. With the hood shut, the front edge of the hood sticks up approximately 1/4" higher than normal. I'm concerned that if I leave it like this it will cause stress cracks in the hood over time. Is there any way to fix this or do I have to live with it?

My shroud was already cut for the BP Vortex. The Haltech Venom sits down in the cut area. I also have and MCM hood. I can see how it might interfere with a stock setup. I also run an open loop MAF tune with no 02's and moving the MAF made the car run SUPER lean.
