Default Remove Radio Buttons....

The buttons on my radio that are broken are the "1,2, etc." buttons that save your stations....I have another radio that came out of a water damaged car but I dont know how to get the buttons out...

how???

After you pull the Radio out, unclip the faceplate all the way around. Remove the power **** and remove the nut underneath, turn it over and remove the small screws that are holding the display board to the faceplate.

Carefully seperate the board from the faceplate and support it so it isn't dangling from the ribbon cable, now unclip the white reflector plate from the back of the faceplate and you should be good to go...

Oh yeah, after you remove the white reflector plate, you'll need to remove the blue filter also... sorry.

Is that a link that will show me how to get the radio out? I just do not want to mess anything up....

I also need to get the drivers side door panel off but I cant get the screw out behind the door handle....any tips?

Follow this down to 3G or so...

If the screw is all the way out, I would try and grab it with needlenose plyers to pull it out. You can also just go ahead and remove the door panel with the screws still behind, as long as you're sure they are totally out of the nuts. Just get em before you re-install it! Oh! Hey, becareful around the snap pins, I really recomemnd you use the proper tool or a flat bar or something to put equal pressure on the sides of the pins and against the door frame...
