Hey guys, after a few thousand miles on my 2001 Z06 I began to hear a roaring noise from the rear end. I thought it was tire noise. Unfortunately, after 30,000 miles and new tires, I still have the problem, which has gotten worse. It's not terrible, but annoying. I have a friend who was a passenger in a 99 a few weeks back and said this vette had the same sound and/or problem, the owner also frustrated because he thought the same thing, replacing the tires would fix it, and it didn't. Is this typical of most/all late model vettes, or do I have something going wrong? If it was serious, such as a bearing, I believe I would have had a failure by now. I do think it is coming from the differential. Anyone have any thoughts they care to share?
